Catholic Cemeteries of Spokane has been working on the development of Queen of Peace Cemetery for the last few years and the plans are to make it the neighborhood Cemetery for south hill residents. The peaceful ambiance adjacent to the Immaculate Heart Retreat Center makes it a natural location for the cemetery and the Rosary Garden Walk lends itself as a contemplative setting for prayerful remembrance of deceased members of our families. It will be fitting permanent resting place for the generations to come. Our future plans include ground burials, family gardens, niches for cremated remains, above ground crypts and a mausoleum if the need is there. There are many memorial options available. The property extends from the Rosary Garden down the hill South and East and encompasses about 20 acres giving the cemetery the expansion room for generations of interments into the foreseeable future.
